Helping seniors live independently in their homes and to connect with their community!
We Provide Hope through a variety of Services...

              Monthly Stockbox sustainable food box delivery in partnership with Hunger Task Force
              Weekly Grocery Grabbers food delivery in partnership with Economart and Hansen Foods
              Monthly Food Pantry pick-up  and delivery in conjunction with Washburn County Food Pantry
  • Shopping and errand assistance
  • Coffee and Connection programs including; Sip and Swipe, Cribbage tournaments, Caring Cards and Birthday Celebrations.
  • Information and referrals to local agencies

Spooner Memorial Library and Neighbor to Neighbor - Washburn County have created a new venture together to serve homebound readers in Washburn County! Books on Rails chugs along to "help homebound citizens have access to quality resources, services, and information by providing practical support services and meaningful connections."
  • Free book delivery and pick-up services - Neighbor to Neighbor volunteers
  • Free book matching services and extended due dates - Spooner Memorial Library staff
  • Free access to books, including large print books and books on CDs
In order to "get your ticket" on the train, contact the Spooner Memorial Library at 715-635-2792 for the information packet.​
We bring groceries to your home...

Schmitz's Economart, Hansen's Country Market and Neighbor to Neighbor - FIA have formed a partnership to create our Grocery Grabbers program.  The mission of this FREE service is to help homebound seniors have access to quality food delivered to their homes.
​Economart and Hasen's Country Foods will fill grocery orders every Tuesday, and Neighbor to Neighbor volunteers bag and deliver the orders to seniors in our community.

To Qualify for Services, Recipients Must...
  • Live in Washburn County, WI
  • Be 60 years old or older​
* Some programs are income based. Please call for additional information!
