Grocery Grabbers

Schmitz's Economart,  and Neighbor to Neighbor - FIA have formed a partnership to create our Grocery Grabbers program.  The mission of this free service is to help homebound seniors and adults with disabilities have access to quality food delivered to their homes.
​Economart will take orders Monday, and check out your order on Tuesday.  Neighbor to Neighbor volunteers shop and deliver the orders to seniors and adults with disabilities in our community on Tuesday.

Stock Boxes 

This program offers a free box of non-perishable food furnished by the Hunger Relief Federation of Wisconsin to lower income seniors 60+. These boxes are delivered the first Tuesday of each month.

​Food Pantry

​Our volunteers provide free food delivery in partnership with the Washburn County Food Pantry. Together we provide items in need to seniors and adults with disabilities in our community.

Caring Cards

 Our Caring Cards program creates cards that can be taken home or mailed to celebrate special occasions. These classes are held in our community.

Friendly Phone Calls -
​ Friendly Visit

Phone calls and visits with seniors and adults with disabilities from volunteers with common interest helps build friendships and reduce social isolation.

Books on Rails

Spooner Memorial Library and Neighbor to Neighbor - Washburn County venture together to serve homebound readers in Washburn County! Books on Rails chugs along to "help homebound citizens have access to quality resources, services, and information by providing practical support services and meaningful connections."
